Ho Raven - Marketing Consultant

After graduating with a degree in Art and Music from Leicester University, I wanted to use my creative abilities, my imagination and look for new ideas – this desire took me into the Marketing industry.

I have accumulated 17 years of marketing experience, 10 of which has been spent honing my craft in one of the UK’s leading and most respected Direct Marketing and Creative Agencies – Proximity London. During this time, I have worked on a succession of high profile Blue Chip clients such as Lloyds Bank, Alliance & Leicester, British Airways, BT, Royal Mail and Mars, and a number of smaller clients in the business to business, travel & tourism and retail fashion sectors.

And now, like so many other mums before me, I have decided to set-up in business so that I can fit my work around my family.

What some of my client’s have said about me:

'Ho approached our business with energy and a passion to deliver results. She combined a rigorous attention to the detail and an eye for the bigger picture objective” – Helen Taylor (Client)

“I have worked with Ho on a number of marketing campaigns. What I liked about Ho was her ability and willingness to get into the shoes of our target audience - it was always the end customer who was her priority” – Sara Eastwood (Client)

Successes have included: Exceeded sales targets for the launch of BT Internet, now one of the leading internet service providers in the UK. Partnership marketing initiatives for brands and retailers which has seen incremental sales for both retailer and brand. Re-instating No 1 marketing share for Mars UK’s leading petfood brand Whiskas and helped the client establish pouches to become the leading format used everyday.

Did I forget to mention……my two gorgeous girls? now 3 and 5 – they’re the reason, my inspiration for wanting to create a better future for my family and for sharing my knowledge of marketing with other mums who run their own businesses.
