Getting customers to spend more with you

Well, you’re off to a good start already if you’ve got them to buy and started a relationship with your customer; this is where we can make our marketing effort work harder for us.

Getting them to spend a bit more isn’t difficult – it’s just knowing what might get them to do something they wouldn’t normally do. Supermarkets and shops are great at this – they get you with their buy one get one free offers (BOGOFs) – you probably wasn’t looking for baby wash today – you’ve still got plenty in the cupboard. But the offer is too good to resist. So the supermarket got you to buy additional item you hadn’t intended to buy.

“Sales promotion” techniques with a bit of care and judgement can really help. Knowing when to use it and what type of techniques will be right for your product or range of products will all help get your customers to spend more. If you’d like to know more, come and have a chat.
